Benefit calculation
Daily benefit is now the sum of:
- a proportional part, equal to 40.4% of the daily salary of the job that was lost
- a fixed part, equal to €10,25.
The sum due is then calculated proportionally to the hours worked (if the job was part time, a corresponding factor is applied. For example, for 15 hours a week instead of 35 hours, the factor is 15/35 = 43%).
When the sum obtained in this way is less than 57.4% of the reference daily salary, the latter percentage is applied.
As well as this, daily benefit cannot be less than €25.01 multiplied by the working hours factor, if affiliation conditions are fulfilled and on condition that benefit does not exceed 75% of the reference daily salary.
The reference daily benefit calculated as above is subject to a ceiling set at 75% of the reference salary.
